Our client is a large-scale international project management and construction business who have an office in Saudi Arabia working on a wide range of projects. They are now actively seeking a Senior Design Review Officer with at least 15 years of experience to join their Riyadh team of over 100 people.
The role holds the responsibility for all design reviews, processes, and procedures. You will also coordinate and liaise with stakeholders on all projects in relation to budgets, managerial and design review decisions during the projects’ design.
Candidates will need the following skills and experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a degree in architectural or engineering field from an internationally recognized university and over 15 years experience in the specific field gained on similar projects.
- Work experience, including supervision, preferably in project and design engineering, systems start-up, field engineering and utilities. Proficient knowledge of procurement, construction, contracts and quality assurance.
- Technical knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, applications of engineering methods and materials and applications of computers and computer aided engineering to problems.
- Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards, engineering procedures and design criteria in all engineering disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally.
