Our client is a small, very design-orientated practice in central London, currently looking for a recently qualified Architect to join their team working on a range of projects including new-build, retrofit, extensions, and additions to buildings in sensitive or heritage contexts; from domestic to large-scale residential and mixed-use work.
Candidates should have:
• Minimum one year’s experience post RIBA Part II or III working in a small to medium, design-led studio.
• An exceptionally clear and well-presented portfolio.
• Strong interest in sustainable design, both theoretical and technical.
• Presentational clarity and rigour in graphic and written work.
• Excellent command of 2D CAD software; the use of MicroStation is not essential, but a willingness to learn quickly is.
• Proficiency in Sketchup and V-ray.
• Excellent post-production editing skills to produce beautiful visuals and illustrations.
• Ability to work within a team, while having a degree of autonomy and excellent time management.
• Good working knowledge of the UK planning system and building regulations.
• Project experience between RIBA Stages 0-2+ essential, RIBA Stages 0-4 preferable.
• A love of design as well as a committed attitude to work and an eagerness to flourish and progress.
