Our client is small but growing and ambitious boutique studio based in Soho that work across Architecture, Interiors and Brand, and cover the Hospitality, Wellness and Lifestyle sectors. They work on projects globally but particularly in London, NYC and Dubai, and the scale of projects range from £300k-£6M, and tend to be interiors focused. They are currently seeking a Project/Senior Architect to help them grow as a business. This candidate will require solid Stage 4 and 5 experience, and hospitality sector experience preferred. Preferred software includes: Autocad, Rhino, Escape, Adobe Creative Suite.

This is a largely office-based role but some hybrid working can be offered.

This role consists of:

Design & Project Leadership

  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring creative and technical excellence.
  • Manage and oversee the design process, ensuring smooth coordination between team members.
  • Guide material selection, spatial layouts, and detailed design execution.
  • Maintain and elevate the studios design language across all projects.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring clarity, trust, and project alignment.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and design discussions.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.

Studio Operations & Growth

  • Oversee team workflows, ensuring efficiency and balance across projects.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, developing their skills and confidence.
  • Support business growth through new client opportunities, proposals, and strategic input.
  • Attend industry events with relevant industry insights.

Technical Oversight & Delivery

  • Ensure the accuracy and build ability of drawing and information packages.
  • Conduct site visits, maintaining design integrity through construction phases.
  • Troubleshoot technical and project challenges, providing leadership and problem-solving.

Above and Beyond

  • Take initiative beyond assigned responsibilities, actively seeking ways to improve studio efficiency, refine design processes, and contribute to the long-term success of the practice.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, pushing creative and technical boundaries in every project.
  • Actively participate in shaping the studios culture, fostering collaboration, and supporting team members where needed.
  • Bring a strategic mindset, thinking not only about project delivery but also about how the studio evolves and grows as a business
