This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join a hotel developer in central London.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for Furniture, Fixtures, Finishes and Equipment (FFF&E), Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, project managers, and vendors, to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of FFF&E and OS&E while maintaining high quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in selecting the right suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and delivering exceptional procurement solutions that meet the company's requirements.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for FFF&E and OS&E that align with the company's project requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including designers, architects, project managers, and operations teams, to identify FFF&E and OS&E needs, specifications and budgets for each project.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers for FFF&E and OS&E, evaluate their capabilities, and select the most suitable vendors based on quality, pricing, delivery times, and reliability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements.
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop comprehensive FFF&E and OS&E procurement schedules that align with project timelines and milestones.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality standards and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
  • Manage the FFF&E and OS&E procurement budget, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring cost control measures are implemented.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular business reviews, fostering long-term partnerships, and staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
  • Stay informed about the latest FF&E and OS&E trends, materials, and technologies to make informed procurement decisions and recommendations.

Candidates will need a number of years experience working in procurement within the high-end hospitality sector.

The role will be working in the office 5 days/week in central London.
