Our client is an award-winning architecture and interior design with offices in west London and York. They are currently seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator or junior BIM Manager to join their collaborative and growing 20 person team in London. They are currently working on an exciting, long-term residential project in North West London for a prominent London developer and are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to its success.
The Role:
As the BIM Coordinator, you will take a lead role in ensuring smooth BIM delivery throughout all project technical & delivery stages, collaborating closely with consultants, and the developer. You will also play a key role in driving the wider implementation of Revit and BIM processes across the London office, helping to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage BIM delivery on a high-profile large scale residential project from RIBA Stages 3 – 6.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to implement efficient Revit workflows and ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
- Provide hands-on support and training to project teams, fostering a strong understanding of BIM protocols and best practices.
- Oversee model coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution using Navisworks and other coordination platforms.
- Manage project data in a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Stay up to date with emerging BIM technologies and standards, advising the team on best practices.
- Regularly reporting to company directors on project progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working on large-scale residential projects in the UK, ideally with exposure to high-density, multi-phase developments.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit with a strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and protocols.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
- Full Adobe suite proficiency.
- Good understanding or experience in implementation of Gateway 2 processes & submissions.
- Experience managing BIM workflows and implementing digital processes across architectural teams.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines. Excellent spoken & written English is essential.
- Previous experience delivering BIM & Revit training and mentoring teams is highly desirable
Salary- DOE
