Our client is a large-scale international project management and construction business who have an office in Saudi Arabia working on a wide range of projects. They are now actively seeking a Senior Construction Manager with at least 18 years of experience to join their Riyadh team of over 100 people.
The Construction Manager holds the responsibility for planning, initiating, running and managing the construction sites with overall responsibility for progress on sites, ensuring, and promoting best construction and HSE practices. The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the construction team, as well as delegating tasks accordingly.
As part of the senior management team, the Construction Manager holds the responsibility to liaise and coordinate with the Program Director and the rest of the senior management team/peers with all matters related to operational issues required for the success of the program in accordance with the Client expectations.
Candidates will need the following skills and experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an internationally recognized university and over 18 years of experience
- Strong track record of construction management of large multi-site programs. Public sector experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of EPC contractual obligations and all related requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership capability.
- Experience of working internationally (preference KSA experience).
